Chalet les Mésanges - Salvan

The space

Inherited from our forefathers, the chalet was renovated in 1996 to offer a perfect meeting place for families or friends.

The accommodation is fully equipped for short to medium term stays. Its comfort and capacity make it a place for memorable experiences.

On the ground floor:
- A kitchen, fully equipped, open to the dining room and the living room area. It includes, among other things, a coffee machine, a dishwasher, and an oven.
- A small sitting area with a pellet stove, perfect to warm up after a day spent in the mountains.
- A toilet.

On the 1st floor :
- A spacious and warm living room with a television, as well as an office area. It gives access to the balcony.
- A bathroom (bath/WC).
- A sunny corner balcony, perfectly oriented South-East, with a magnificent view on the Rhone valley.

Under the attic :
- A first room furnished with a queensize bed.
- A second room including 2 single beds.
- A third bedroom with 4 single beds.

Guest access

The accommodation as well as the equipment or accessories are at your disposal during your stay.

Guest interaction

Entering the house is simple, efficient and independent thanks to a keybox that you will find at the entrance of your accommodation. All the required information for your stay will be provided to you by email and can be consulted via our online interface.

Our team will not be present on site upon your arrival or during your stay. However, we will be happy to help you with any problems or questions you may have. Do not hesitate to contact us!

The neighborhood

The chalet is located in the charming village of Salvan, in the heart of the Valaisan Alps. All amenities (grocery stores, bakeries, restaurants, etc.) are located in the village and are easily accessible by foot.

The chalet is about 7 minutes walk from the train station of Salvan and less than 15 minutes drive from Martigny.

In winter, depending on the opening of the ski area, a shuttle bus runs between the Salvan train station and Les Marécottes, gondola lift.

Its location offers a great proximity to the many centers of interest in the region.
It is an ideal base for hiking, mountaineering, climbing, tourism or relaxation.

- Zoo of Les Marécottes
- Lake of Emosson
- Gorges du Dailley, gorges du Triège
- Barryland (museum and St. Bernard dogs),

Getting around

The chalet is accessible by car. There is no parking space assigned to the chalet. The nearest public parking lot is 1 minute walk from the accommodation.

The chalet is also accessible by public transport (about 25 minutes from Martigny train station).

Other things to note

Sheets and towels are provided by us. The availability of the laundry is included in the cleaning rates.
