  1. Wir haben den Ferienaufenthalt in Auvernier genossen und die Region schätzen gelernt.

    Positive: Lage, Haus und Garten waren ideal für Urlaub mit Familie oder Gruppe. Nähe zum See war passend und die Terrasse war angenehm für Familie zum Entspannen. Das Dorf Auvernier mit seinem Dorfzentrum hat zum Ausgehen und Flanieren eingeladen. Negative: Parkplatzsituation für Auto war umständlich.

    The house is in one word: grand! One feels like a golden age film star standing on one of the two balconies overlooking the massive garden. There are lovely turtles in the garden which the kids loved! It's very near to a tram station to Neuchatel, a park with kids amusements, the beach and the harbour. Also the little town of Auvernier is worth a visit. The house has all amenities you'd need. A big kitchen with eveeything needed to cook for a big group is provided. Maybe bring your own knive if you, like me, are annoyed by dull blades 😉 The beds are very comfy and there is so much to discover in this lovely villa!

    We spent a really nice time with the family. Plenty of space and privacy for staying with different groups. We couldn’t hear each other at night (even with a toddler in one room and a baby in another). Sleeping quarters and hanging out areas are on separate floors which gives a lot of flexibility. The house looked like a museum. There was so much space including a large terrace and an amazing garden with many turtles (the garden is shared with the neighboring lady (caretaker) who is very friendly and lent us a chair and a swimming pool for our toddler). It’s very close to lake, a playground and many other activities. Auvernier is charming but small however a tram 2 minutes from the house takes you to Neuchatel center in 5 mins.

    This is a unique home in a great little area. We stayed here with two families and there was plenty of space. The garden is lovely. The house has a cool history and the location is perfect. It’s a short walk to the lakefront, which, in our opinion, is much better here than in Neuchâtel. The town is pretty quiet, but it has some wineries and a couple places for food.
