The apartment is just as it appears in the photos, there are no unpleasant surprises. Our idea was a ski weekend and that is what an apartment is for even, longer periods than just a weekend. The location with Google maps is easy without that it is not easy. The location is uphill just ALL SKI CENTERS. If you are looking for something flat, then don't go skiing. Everything worked wonderfully except for the Nespesso coffee machine which unfortunately its tank had a leak but could be used anyway. I have no complaints nor claims Mr Timothee from CoucouNCo was always at our disposal. If I return to Zermatt next ski season I will probably try to go to this apartment. Thanks for everything I had a great ski weekend, I recommend renting it.

Easy enough to walk to town & to the ski hill, plus a gorgeous view of the Matterhorn. Only thing to keep in mind is you have walk up hill and a long flight of stairs to the building during the winter. A little hard with heavy luggage but doable. Overall still worth the 5 star review!

Good weekend stay with view of Matterhorn!
Positive: It’s reasonably priced accommodation with everything you would need, good for a weekend stay. It’s clean as well and great hot shower, which is fabulous after a long long hike. You get a lot of support from the staff as well and check in and out is easy. Negative: Be mindful about location. It is a walk from the train station, not suitable if you have a big suitcase. The dishwasher is quite smelly, hope they can fix it.

Wir hatten einen schönen Aufenthalt in Zermatt. Die Wohnung hat alles was man braucht. Die Wohnung ist in der Nähe der Bergbahnen. Allerdings ist der Zugang nur zu Fuss und über Treppen möglich. Check-in/-out waren sehr unkompliziert. Die Küchenutensilien könnten etwas erweitert werden.

The space was as described and the bed comfortable. We had trouble finding the place and the key box as my phone connection was bad and could not load the pdf instructions in full. Despite messaging the agency, they were not helpful in providing additional instructions other than "look at the map online" or "refer to the pdf." I would recommend adding the instructions to the air bnb app not through an email. The space did not have shampoo or soap, bring your own. Not really recommended if you have big suitcases on wheels because of the up hill and stairs. Cleaning fees were very high and they asked you to clean the place before you leave. Overall, we had a decent stay, but would probably not stay there again.

Great place in a great town. A bit tricky to find but instructions are first rate….make sure you follow them completely! Getting all the luggage and snowboarding equipment up the stairs to the building itself takes some work but after that it’s smooth sailing. The apartment is neat, clean and has great views. Easy walk to town and slopes. Great value for the money!

This is the perfect spot for an active couple! Beautiful view and very walkable to everything in town (including skiing). Be prepared to walk up and down some hills/stairs but once your luggage is secured the walk is great. Get a cab from the train if you have a lot of bags. The shower has tons of water pressure and works great! I would highly recommend!

The managing company also send a document mentioning that there is no wifi after the booking was made and full payment was done.

Appartement conforme au descriptif, calme, matelas confortable pour deux. Très peu de place de rangement disponible. L'accès est rapide depuis la gare, mais il y a une bonne montée, avec des escaliers, puis un chemin recouvert d'herbe et de quelques grosses dalles pour accéder à l'entrée du chalet.

My son and I spent a week here to ski & snowboard and it was a wonderful place to stay. Waking up every morning to see the view of the Matterhorn was wild ! You can actually see the gondolas moving up the mountain. The modern kitchen worked fabulously for my son’s enormous appetite and cooking needs. All the tools he needed were available. The ski storage room on the first floor was convenient ! The location was up a hill a bit and in a quiet building and neighborhood. Would love to stay here again !

Great little nest for a one week (couples) ski trip in Zermatt! Close to town, main lift and rentals. Top of Matterhorn view keeps one in touch. A fair climb up stairs and ramps for those worried about carrying bags or slippery surfaces. Loved.

On a positive note, let me begin by saying I dealt with several members of the host's team, most of whom were very responsive and nice. I even received a call before my visit to see if I had questions. That said, in general we did not enjoy our stay for several reasons. 1. This apartment is at the top of a very long, snowy and icy hill. Getting there with skis, ski boots, and/or luggage is very difficult and cabs are not able to get close to the property--plus 2 cabs a day could get pretty expensive even if that were an option. For a property in a ski village, I suggest the host be much more transparent about the location. If you've never been to Zermatt, looking on a map it's not clear how inconvenient this apartment is. Some of the reviews mentioned a hill, but we had no idea what we were in for. We ended up paying a local hotel to allow us to store our equipment in their ski room so we didn't have to walk up and down the icy hill in ski boots with equipment. 2. Many of the host's instructions were not clear and it was difficult to find the place, especially in the dark when we arrived. They sent us a ton of materials (PDFs, an app, etc.) but it was information overload that resulted in a lot of futzing. Their maps for where to get the key, where to drop trash, etc. could have been much clearer, and the coordinates in the getting started guide took us to the wrong building. 3. When we arrived, the apartment had a pretty unpleasant smell. We aired the place out for several days and it eventually improved, but that required keeping the patio door open in the middle of winter. We were hoping to leave early because the smell was initially pretty unbearable but the host kept delaying until it was no longer worth dealing with. 4. Given Covid, we were hoping to cook most of our meals in the kitchen, but the kitchen lacked many basics like lids for the pots and simple equipment like a can opener. We even inquired in advance about whether we should bring any equipment, and they could have been much more forthcoming about what was not offered. Further, the property lacked a lot of the basic comforts that most Airbnbs provide. For example, if you have a Nespresso machine, I would suggest providing at least a couple pods to get guests going. In summary, I'll say this. In their literature, the host reminded guests that their property was not a hotel. I get that 100%, and that's why we chose it. However, for hotel prices I typically choose an Airbnb because it compensates in other ways (e.g. more space, a homey environment, etc.). This property did not compensate, and we would have much preferred a hotel.

My sister and I had a lovely stay here. The apartment was very clean and cozy. The balcony has a view of the Matterhorn which made it feel magical! The kitchen had a large refrigerator and had all the necessary kitchen utensils and pots and pans for us to make our meals. We had some trouble with checking in but Nicolas was very quick to respond. The apartment is a 10 minute walk to town which was great! But there are many stairs that can make it tiring, especially when carrying your ski/snowboard gear. I would definitely recommend staying here, and I would love to come back some day!

Escape Room rückwärts. Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt in Zermatt. Der Einstieg war etwas holprig. Zunächst geht es zur Suche nach dem passenden Haus, was durch den langen Anstieg mit den vielen Treppen schon etwas beschwerlich war. Ich würde sagen für unsportliche ist der Aufenthalt in der Wohnung nicht so gut geeignet. Dann haben wir die Keybox nicht gefunden. Es hat uns ca. 2Stunden gekostet und nur mit Hilfe eines jungen Mannes der der französischen Sprache mächtig ist. Nun ja die Kommunikation zu Nicolas oder der Organisation im Hintergrund ist stark verbesserungs dürftig. Das Zimmer ist wie beschrieben sehr schön renoviert und gut ausgestattet.

The appartment was clean and the advertised features were accurate. The key was stored in a safety box outside. The neighbourhood is nice and we had no issues with noises or other annoyances. Matterhorn is a bit obstructed by other building but this is no big deal. It is as it is. If you go outside the house, you have full view. Location is great. Not far away from the train station and shops. The only thing what may be difficult for others, there are about 50m of steep walk up the hill including stairs until one arrives at the entrance to the house. For us it was no problem at all but others may want to be aware of this.

Appartement ist schön und allgemein gut eingerichtet. Bei den Küchenutensilien haben uns einige Sachen gefehlt. Die Lage ist relativ zentral, leider führt ein steiler Weg sowie eine Treppe zum Haus hoch, was mit viel Gepäck und Kinderwagen sehr mühsam ist. Ein Kinderbett konnte durch die Verwaltung leider nich zur Verfügung gestellt werden.

Nicolas's place is in a great location with a good view at the Matterhorn. The interior design is rather unique but certainly a memorable one since some of the furnitures are quite antique. We had our fun staying at this place and of course, we spent most of our time skiing which was super easy to approach since within 7 minutes walk you can reach the Talstation from this apartment. The check-in and check-out are both automated with no contact which is great in these times of the pandemic. We could always contact Nicolas and team through their phone number. Thank you Nicolas for hosting us!

L’appartement se trouve dans un quartier très calme de Zermatt. Il y a une belle vue sur le Cervin. Le studio est bien aménagé avec un lit très confortable. Très bon rapport qualité/prix. Une casserole supplémentaire dans le cuisine ne serait pas de trop.

We spent great ski days in Zermatt at this studio, which is well located and equiped with everything you need. The communication with the person responsible for this studio was quick and helpful. If you come with many luggages, I advise you to take the cart from the train station and leave it at hotel Holiday, before the stairs until you unload your stuff and then bring it back.
