The space

Wonderful chalet fully furnished and equipped for an exceptional stay in the mountains at an altitude of 1235 meters :

On the 1st floor:

A first bedroom furnished with a kingsize bed.
A bathroom (shower/WC).

On the ground floor:

A bright, fully equipped kitchen, open to the dining room. It is composed as follows: two coffee machines (Krups espresso machine and Dolce Gusto machine), cooking plates, a refrigerator, a freezer, a dishwasher, a microwave and an oven.
A warm living room with a table and a large wall bookcase, a TV and a DVD player. A wood-burning fireplace is at your disposal, perfect for a reading by the fire or for a moment of sharing with family or friends.
A guest toilet.
A covered terrace, accessible from the dining room, with a table and chairs. It offers a beautiful view of the mountains and a meadow.

On the lower ground floor :

A second bedroom with 2 single beds (put together to form a double bed). It gives access to the second terrace.
A third bedroom including 2 single beds.
A fourth bedroom furnished with a single bed.
A bathroom (bathtub/WC).
A beautiful terrace with outdoor furniture overlooking a large garden, perfect for a meal outdoors. The garden would be a perfect place for children to play.
A laundry room with a washing machine and a dryer. Please note that the shower in the laundry room is not usable.
A parking spot next to the chalet. For additional vehicles, a shared parking lot is located 200m from the accommodation.

Please note that pets are not allowed in the chalet.

Winter season

In winter, the chalet is available for rent during the season (from December 1st to April 30th). It is ideally located at the foot of a ski slope.

Guest access

The accommodation as well as the equipment or accessories are at your disposal during your stay.

Guest interaction

Entering the house is simple, efficient and independent thanks to a keybox that you will find at the entrance of your accommodation. All the required information for your stay will be provided to you by email and can be consulted via our online interface.

Our team will not be present on site upon your arrival or during your stay. However, we will be happy to help you with any problems or questions you may have. Do not hesitate to contact us!

The neighborhood

The chalet is located on the top of the charming village Les Marécottes.

During the warmer months, it is perfectly situated for a relaxing stay, surrounded by greenery, in the calm of the mountains. It is the ideal base for hiking, mountaineering, climbing or relaxing. In late August and September, cows and donkeys may graze on the meadow next to the chalet and you can hear the traditional sound of cow bells.

During the winter, the chalet can only be rented for the whole season.

The chalet is 1000m from the departure of Les Marécottes cable car (600m via pedestrial paths).

A few restaurants and a small Pam supermarket (with daily fresh bread) are located next to the ski lifts in the center of the village.

The chalet is less than 20 minutes by car from Martigny.

Getting around

The chalet is accessible by car.

A parking space is available next to the chalet.
When road conditions are suitable, the chalet can be reached by car (the last 100 meters are on an unpaved road). Although steep, many types of cars can reach the chalet and can park in the chalet's carport).

It is also possible to get there by public transport (about 45 minutes from Martigny station, including a 15-20 minutes walk)

Other things to note

Sheets and towels are provided by us. The availability of the laundry is included in the cleaning rates.

A lovely chalet which accurately reflected the description given online. Very well equipped, especially kitchen and bathroom. we particularly liked the garden, as it was not "over-kept" and suited the rustic setting. Beautiful mountain views. Access instructions very clear. One or two things could be improved: please, an electric kettle! And (especially when it rained) the lower/cellar floor smelled not too good - drains? Also, a request for a lightbulb in one of the bedside lights in the master bedroom was not met, and there were a few dead insects lying around. Overall, however, a very nice place, though rather expensive - Helen and family.

Le chalet est situé en pleine nature. Très calme. Nous avons eu la chance de voir des chevreuils à deux reprises depuis la cuisine. Le Chalet était parfaitement propre et rangé. Très lumineux. Les chambres et espaces sont bien disposés et séparés. Nous étions 6 et avions largement la place. Je conseil ce logement.
